Golden German Millet (Setaria italica)

Warm Season Annual

Golden German Millet is an late maturing upright annual grass. It has a relatively low water use requirement, but is not overly drought tolerant. Salinity tolerance and shade tolerance is low. The waxy leaves makes it an excellent species to use for swath grazing or stockpile grazing. Dry down for hay can be challenging.
