Dahurian Wild Rye is a short lived upright bunchgrass perennial that is very easy to establish. It has good salinity tolerance. Drought tolerance is good, especially the first few years. Winter hardiness is moderate, weakening after year three. Flooding tolerance is rated at moderate.
