Sudangrass (Sorghum x drummondii)

Warm Season Annual

Sudangrass is an upright grass that loves warm nights and adequate moisture. It is finer stemmed than most sorghum sudangrass hybrids, and will tolerate cooler temperatures better. The rest of the characteristics are similar to sorghum sudangrass. Very good drought and heat tolerance, moderately tolerant to salinity, but low tolerance to flooding and frost. For both hay and grazing, it is very palatable.
