Japanese Millet is an upright annual grass. It is more coarse than other millets but is one of the fastest growing species of millet. Regrowth is one of the best also. High ratings for drought tolerance and heat tolerance. Salinity rating is fair. When seeded in summer, it competes well in blends. It dries down well for hay. Japanese Millet handles traffic well.
